I have 40 plus years of experience in the wood products industry, retiring as President and CEO of a large paper Co. I have had some rather interesting experiences during my business career, staring as a trainee and working my way up the ladder to eventually become a CEO. After my retirement I was involved as an advisor to two startup companies, and I watched them grow from nothing to very successful businesses. This experience inspired me to write my book "The American Dream The Entrepreneur's Way" While I am of course interested in selling my book, I am more interested in getting the message of good character and values that the book exemplifies. I want people to help me rescue The American Dream by demanding a change in a World gone crazy with Corporate, financial, and Government greed, scams and get rich schemes. One of my objectives is share my experiences and the lessons I have learned with young people particularly College Students. Another objective is to be an example for seniors to keep active. Gosh, an 80 year man writing his first book should be an example that us old folks still can make a contribution to our great society. Specialties I am a student and proponent of a management style that pushes responsiblity to the lowest level. Giving workers on the job the tools, support and recognition they deserve and then stand back and let them do it. I can give examples how effectively it works!
