Communications Manager for The Carnegie Visual and Performing Arts Center, northern Kentucky's largest multidisciplinary arts venue, located in Covington, KY. Responsible for all marketing, advertising, social media and public relations activities. Professional background includes more than eight years (7 years with an agency) of experience in national and local media relations, special event planning, crisis communications, spokesperson training, employee communications and with social media executions. Outside of work I am co-founder of Cincinnati Women Bloggers, the Tri-State's only organization specifically dedicated to connecting women in the social media community. I have spoken on social media and media relations topics to a number of groups, including Leadership Northern Kentucky, the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, and the Cincinnati Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. I have been featured in the Cincinnati Enquirer and Soapbox Cincinnati as well as appeared on Fox19, WLWT News 5 and on Blog Talk Radio on various social media topics. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Northern Kentucky University in 2000 and I am a member of the 2008 class of Leadership Northern Kentucky.
