I'm a media junkie and multimedia professional who has decided to take up SLR photography as a hobby. :) While I've always enjoyed taking photos, I'm definitely an amateur. Any tips will be greatly appreciated! Also, an interesting side-note: I'm legally blind even with contacts. (My vision only corrects to about 20/200 R and 20/300 L). As you can see in many of my sets, particularly the ones that portray wildlife, I use my zoom lens a lot. The funny thing is, for far away objects, the lens actually makes it possible for me to even see some of my subjects in the first place. Once I find them, though, I'm able to experiment with different shooting techniques. :D My motto is this: If you have usable vision, you can do pretty much anything a fully sighted person can do. You just have to be clever and confident about it.
