A proven product leader with over years of experience in product development and digital media. Currently the Director of Product Management for Birchbox, a US-based discovery commerce platform offering consumers a unique and personalized way to discover, learn about and shop for beauty, grooming and lifestyle products. I have launched successful, commercially robust properties for key organisations in Australia, most recently at Yahoo prior to co-founding Juno Interactive and Beem. My key management positions at Yahoo included Head of Lifestyle, and Head of Media Production and Custom Solutions. Under my leadership, Yahoo Lifestyle became Australias # Lifestyle website, and Yahoos most sought-after advertiser property. Whilst at Yahoo I was responsible for the complete product life cycle of the Yahoo Media Properties, leading teams from concept, design and development to consumer acquisition, retention and commercialisation. I also hold key skills as a Ruby on Rails developer with a flair for design, a passion for usability and a secret love of documentation. Previously running my own web development and design business, I held contracts with major companies including Sony Music Entertainment, News Digital, Telstra and BigPond. I also launched the website property for radio station Vega at DMG Radio Australia, one of the countrys largest commercial radio networks.
