I'm a public health professional with experienceinterest in health IT, public health informatics, healthcare quality improvementpolicyreform, and project management. Since earning my M.S. in Physiology from Georgetown, I've worked on a variety of contractual projects for the NIH and CDC focusing primarily on mental health and disease surveillance. These roles have allowed me to develop strong research, analytical, communication, writing, presentation, and organizational skills. I plan build upon my knowledge of project management principles and complete the remaining hours required to earn my PMP credential in addition to learning more about the various applications of biomedical informatics for clinical, research, and public health purposes and completing a certificate program or MPH in health informatics. My multidisciplinary educational background, unique skills, and professional experience in consulting and government contracting have helped cultivate my entrepreneurial spirit and enduring motivation to research, identify, and promote the implementation of creative technology solutions to a diverse range of current public health challenges.
