As a communications professional with 12 years of experience, I specialize in Public and Community Relations and Social Media. In the area of Public Relations, my experience has led me to craft public relations strategies for clients in diverse industries, implement public and community relations campaigns, and concept and coordinate special events and press conferences designed to garner positive national, regional and local publicity for my clients business, products and services. In the area of social media, I guide clients on the intricacies of social networking, including an understanding of PR and crisis communications 2.0. I help companies and brands understand how to establish a social media presence that serves to engage the public, which in turn enhances their business goals and objectives. I also provide training to clients on the use of social networking tools and provide insight in how to use these tools to build community. I'm a huge proponent of sharing knowledge and regularly volunteer my time to assist non-profit organizations with their PR and social media needs.
