My ties to Evanston and Skokie are strong. I was born and baptized in Evanston. My mom and husband grew up in Evanston. Currently my husband, Joel Lerner, and I live in Skokie, while owning a residence in Evanston too. Joel works for Pioneer Press as a photojournalist. (He's been shooting high school sports since he was at ETHS himself, but his awards include his news and feature work too.) I'm a Niles North alum. Go Vikings! I run Kring Lerner Group, a media agency specializing in photography, journalism and strategic media.
