I worked in personal finance and investment advising before obtaining a masters degree in development finance. Over the past three years, I have worked in the arena of financial inclusion -- namely microfinance and financial sector development in Kenya and South Africa. I have also been involved in local community-level development and relief projects during my tenure in Africa. Recently, I began a Master of Philosophy in Futures Studies which focuses on both theory and methodological capacity building to foster strategic foresight. My goal is to be involved in the global process of human and economic development, contributing significantly to the resolution of major global issues. I believe that my skills and experience have prepared me to participate in the discernment and eventual achievement of a mutually desired global future with attention to localized concerns.
