Michelle Proctor, Owner, Proctor Marketing Development, has a background in government administration, non-profit management, entrepreneurship and advocacy. Prior to starting her own company, Michelle held various leadership positions within Tennessee State Government, including State Director for BERO, Tennessee's small and diversity support program and Executive Director of the Tennessee Economic Council on Women. Michelle has a proven track record of building organizations and exceeding expectations of their customers. She has created nationally recognized business development programs (Tennessee Business Matchmaking) co-authored ground-breaking research (first Status of Women in Tennessee Counties Report) organized a statewide grassroots campaign to promote entrepreneurship (Global Entrepreneurship Week in Tennessee) and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars through grant writing and fundraising.
