Jason Keane studied science at University College Cork and worked as a geologist and a software developer before going to New York to study filmmaking. After graduating from the one-year programme at the New York Film Academy, he worked on a large number of productions, on both camera and sound. After spending two years in New York, he returned to his native Cork in the summer of 2009 where he continues to develop his own projects, while also collaborating on other films, both in Ireland and with partner production companies based in New York and New Jersey. He has written, directed and produced numerous short films.
