Erin Donovan received her degree in Political Economics from the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. In she co-founded and was a lead organizer of the Ladyfest arts festival. As a project coordinator for Kill Rock Stars records, she put together retrospective albums for punk luminaries like Essential Logic and the Delta . She then spent an alternately very cold and very hot year in New England cutting her teeth on documentary film at the Media Education Foundation before going back to the west coast to work with independent film producers as an investment researcher. In she produced Andy Blubaugh's feature debut The Adults in the Room, a hybrid narrative-documentary about the director's experiences growing up. The film was one of the first successful documentary funding campaigns on Kickstarter and is currently screening on the international film festival circuit. Erin is now the founder of A Million Movies a Minute, a documentary distributor whose inaugural release After the War Life post-Yugoslavia featured short documentaries from award-winning, international film-makers including Jasmila bani, winner of the Golden Bear award at the Berlin Film Festival. In the spring of AMMAM released Animating Reality a compilation of animated documentaries that cover a wide spectrum of subject matter and in the fall will release Radical Act a feature-length documentary about the role female artists played in the 's indie rock scene. This fall, AMMAM will release Cooking History, an oral history of th century European warfare -- as told by military chefs. She is currently the in-house producer for Field Recordings, a production company founded by Lance Bangs.
