Professional experience has been in trade and feature reporting, magazine publishing and, of late, operating an online daily entertainment blog for the Canadian market with the primary focus on music and broadcasting. FYIMusic Bulletin mailing list has swelled to 6,827 individuals. That's right, 6,827 individuals with an interest in Canada's music industry. The mailing list roughly counting includes 600 broadcasters, 300 employed with record and music publishing companies, approximately 1,500 in the talent business (managers, agents, concert promoters, talent buyers and programmers for clubs and festivals), another thousand-plus in print and electronic media, a complement of promotion and publicity firms, roughly 100 in federal and provincial government posts, a folio of music retailers and online music stores, and a couple of thousand musicians. The FYI Music industry website and the weekly bulletin are intended to benefit the industry at large, to promote the music and the people behind the music in Canada, and to reach out to the world beyond. This said, FYI Music requires support. We want to promote your message, your accomplishments, the music and the industry here in Canada and we have created two vehicles to accomplish this goal. FYI Music and the weekly Bulletin have reached out into the community to reach a market and promote the voice of Canada's music industry. We have built a powerful voice, and there are plans to add more content and metrics with your direct input. Specialties Over 30 years of reporting on the music and entertainment sectolrs in Canada. Created the online daily FYIMusic.ca blog just over eight months back aimed at music industry professionals, broadcasters, musicians.
