Constant complaint My priorities aren't always in the order I want them to be. ... A description of me I love books, and reading.  The ability to read new, interesting content is what got me hooked on the Internet in the first place.   Some of the book types I am interested in include: mysteries, spy fiction (including all the  James Bond works by various authors), some science fiction, and most all fantasy (with Tolkien and C.S. Lewis front and center), theology (C.S. Lewis, again, is a favorite). I'm trying to be a writer.  I have discovered a couple of excellent writer's circles, and have not only joined them, but dived into participation eagerly. I will also be attempting NaNoWriMo once more, this year. (If you don't know what that is, feel free to ask.  It's fascinating, and a great training ground for writers) I love music, and have been a musician for over 50 years.  I especially love jazz and classical music.  Especially baroque.  I also love the Russian composers (Rimsky-Korsokov being a favorite)   As a performing musician, I have played cornet/trumpet for 52 years, and have sung for almost as long. I enjoy virtual environments/worlds.  I have been a resident of Second Life for over four years.  I have also made forays into InWorldz. I enjoy watching what happens in the world, and I'm intrigued by many different things, both mundane and unusual. i am a Christian, Lutheran officially, evangelical by temperament.  But don't worry, I won't push it down your throat. ... My circles One of my  circles that you may be interested in is my Current Events circle.  I link to various news articles and add my own commentary.  My goal is to post at least 2 or 3 of these per day., with at least 1 public post per day. If you want to be circled back If you have circled me, please understand that I probably won't circle you back right away.  I am circled by quite a few people every day.  I don't have time to get to everybody on an up to date basis.  However, when I do get around to you, the following things will encourage me to circle you.  If they are not in evidence, it will be significantly less likely that I will give you a second glance. - Upload a photo or graphic, please.  If all I see is that blue anonymous silhouette that indicates you haven't bothered, than I won't bother with you. - Fill out your profile.  This includes the Introduction (grammatical, complete sentences appreciated), occupation (this doesn't necessarily mean your paying job), bragging rights, education, etc.  You don't have to be specific on a lot of this stuff, I've seen people say "school of hard knocks" under education.  Also, don't be pompous.  Don't fill out your profile referring to yourself in third person.  Don't say "I don't believe in bragging" under the bragging section. - Post publicly at least 3 days per week.  Notice I didn't say "times", I said "days".  If I don't see anything recent in your posts, I will have doubts about how seriously you're taking Google+. ************************************************************,
