Chris Van Patten is the creative director at Van Patten Media, a digital agency that builds websites and products for Broadway entertainers, shows, and other creative businesses. Van Patten Media has worked with Susan Egan (original Belle, "Beauty and the Beast" on Broadway), "Buyer Cellar" (smash-hit Off-Broadway play starring Michael Urie), Andrew Keenan-Bolger (original Crutchie, "Newsies" on Broadway), LML Music, Daryl Roth Theatrical Management, and many more. The company also produces new theatrical works, including Ryan Scott Oliver's "mm" and Max FriedmanCharlie Rosen's "The Bluest Ink". Before coming to New York City (where he is now based), Chris was an active member of the Buffalo tech community where he founded "BfloFRED," the Buffalo Front-End Developers meetup group, which was later expanded to include meetups in Manchester, UK and Toronto, ON. He was also co-organizer of Buffalo's inaugural WordCamp, a conference for WordPress developers and users, and created the ThirdThursday series of happy hour meetups.
