A competent church soundguy (whether male or female) is using relatively high-tech equipment to serve a worship team, a teaching pastor and others, as they lead a congregation of a few dozen to many thousands of people in their amazing work of worshiping a loving God. Thats work to be proud of. Thats work to do well. For the last thirty years, David has been a worship musician playing in local church services and on the road, currently in a contemporary Christian band alongside his wife. In addition, David has personally assisted with church plants and mission work throughout North America, Europe and Asia, designing, installing and mixing on sound systems in many nations, and in several languages. And hes served as a teaching staff pastor for a couple of decades, giving him extensive experience in all four corners of the church sound system users system design, audio engineering, worship leading amp preaching. Working with dozens of mega-churches and thousands of small congregations, Davids goal is to prevent, more than solve, challenges facing church sound guys wherever possible. That is always the goal of the Church Soundguy.
