A.C. Charania is an entrepreneurial engineer and technical innovator possessing more than a decade of experience creating global aerospace projects. He attempts to create the future by engineering advanced technology solutions to various challenges humanity faces. Most recently, he has been advancing entrepreneurial aerospace ventures for both commercial and government customers. He has experience in technical project engineering and business plan development, focused on maturing advanced aerospace launch vehicle and spacecraft concepts. Examples include air-launch, CubeSatnano-satellite spacecraft, transponderdeflection missions to asteroids, hypersonic reusable launch vehicles (air-breathing, rocket), Earth observation spacecraft, Space Solar Power (SSP), and high speed global point-to-point transportation. Specific roles he has held include - Corporate leadership in established and start-up companies - Technical program management including as Principal Investigator (PI) - Aerospace systems engineerdesigner (including cost and operations analysis) - Business development manager, capturing millions of dollars of contracted work from U.S. and international sources - Proposal lead (capture manager, writer) on over governmentcommercial proposals - Business plan developer and financial analyst - Venture advisor to multiple start-ups - International trade and export compliance official (with ITAR experience) - Media and brand producer (artvideo direction, web site, collateral material, trade-shows) He has worked on projects for NASA, the U.S. Air Force, DARPA, large aerospace prime contractors, and the emerging field of smaller aerospace ventures. He founded two recent aerospace start-ups (Generation Orbit and Terminal Velocity Aerospace), providing their initial vision and then technicalmanagement leadership. He led the development of international commercial aerospace projects with Japan and the Republic of Korea (South Korea).
