Rather than spending a lot of time becoming the total best at one thing, once I generally get the hang of it I'll quickly get bored and move back out of my comfort zone towards learning new things. I'm still not sure whether to see this as a good or bad quality yet, but it does mean that I'm a good fit for some positions and a bad fit for others. This is probably why I've worked on such a range of different things, as seen above. Currently I work full time on open source node.js projects for Carrot Creative. I'm starting to mix in little bits of go as well where appropriate. I also teach part time at Thinkful and help to plan their curriculums, am active on AirPair helping people out with front-end and node, do some limited freelance consulting for personal connections.
