GOALS To work for a company that uses and supports advanced communications technology. In a distribution company, I would prefer work in a post-sales capacity. I enjoy environments in which customer service isnt (just) a department, but an attitude. I appreciate having a sense of accomplishment, which requires a challenging environment. I want to take pride in my work and employment. In my future with VOX, I am hoping to work more with customers data networks and advanced applications (e.g., Contact Center and Lync). EXPERIENCE Converged communications engineer with over eighteen years of combined telecom and server experience. A background in Windows operating systems and SQL report writing gave me my first exposure to call centers. I leveraged the call center experience in to a position with a distributor where I worked frequently with the manufacturer to troubleshoot issues for multiple products. When I accepted my next position, I expanded my knowledge to include Cisco Call Manager, current Microsoft products and systems monitoring. I also managed technicians located at each branch. Returning to work for a distributor gave me experience in CRM, tested my project management skills and added data networking technologies to my skill sets. In my current position, Ive expanded my knowledge across all products (Microsoft, Avaya) and worked regularly with the manufacturer on design issues.
