A native of Roanoke, Virginia, Lisa attended Patrick Henry High School and Mary Washington College, earning a bachelor’s degree in Economics. Lisa has worked in public relations and marketing functions throughout her adult career. At Dominion Bankshares Corporation she worked as an Investor Relations Officer, with First Union Corporation, a Sales Trainer and Marketing Specialist, and as an Account Executive with John Lambert Associates (now TBA). Lisa is currently in her second stint with the City of Roanoke, now charged with retail retention and expansion in the Department of Economic Development. Lisa has a pr and advertising company on the sidelines and has handled the Oakey’s Funeral Service & Crematory account for over 10 years. She is also a volunteer at Valhalla Vineyards on weekends. In addition to loving her job and the city where she grew up, Lisa enjoys meeting new people, showing off her hometown, (Roanoke, VA), traveling, gardening, studying Italian, cooking & entertaining, collecting china, shopping and learning.
