is an environmental regulator who holds a Master of Arts in theology from Providence College. His thesis examined the influences of St. Bonaventure on the writings and thought of Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI. In 2008 and 2009, Bill presented papers at the Archbishop Iakovos Graduate Students Conference in Patristic Studies at the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology in Brookline, Massachusetts; in 2010 he was inducted into the Theta Alpha Kappa honor society for theological studies. He has been accepted to present at the 2012 International Congress on Medieval Studies.Bill is also a graduate of the University of Rhode Island in mechanical engineering. He is a 23-year employee with the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management. In this capacity he has received numerous state and federal awards. Since 2004, Bill has been writing ?Catholic Ecology? for the Rhode Island Catholic. He also writes about various aspects of Catholicism and social commentary for local and national publications.Currently, Bill is writing his new book "Sacramental Social Doctrine: Benedict XVI's Challenge to the Twenty-First Century." Estimated completion: April 2012.
