I've had the great pleasure of indexing titles in Compass Point's We the People series, as well as titles in their Signature Lives series. I've also indexed titles in Compass Point's Snapshots in History series, via White-Thomson Publishing, Ltd. University press projects of interest include multiple indexes for Dr. Deborah Sweeney's "Correspondence and Dialogue Pragmatic Features in Late Ramesside Letter-writing," published by Harrassowitz Verlag GmbH Co., as well as an index for Golden and Zangrando's work "The Mixed Legacy of Charlotte Perkins Gilman," published by the University of Delaware Press. I've also produced an index for Ellen Skerrett's exceptional work "Born in Chicago," a history of Loyola University, produced by Herman Adler, and published by Loyola University Press. It has also been an honor to create indexes for former Secretary of Defense William Cohen's "Easy Prey," published by Marlowe Company, and for Milton Meltzer's "Writing Matters," published by Franklin Watts. Specialties I work in an entirely electronic environment, eliminating the printing and shipping costs associated with hard copy indexing, and reducing the environmental impact caused by paper-based production. I have well over a decade's worth of experience with embedded indexing, starting with PageMaker and Microsoft Word, and currently with InDesign CS.
