Elisha Fara Landman joined Adelson, Testan, Brundo, & Jimenez in 2005. She received her BA in Philosophy, with honors, and a minor in Theater Arts from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA and her JD from Yeshiva University, Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City. Ms. Landman is a Certified Specialist in the field of Workers' Compensation Law. At Adelson Testan, Ms. Landman works on all aspects of defending Workers' Compensation claims. Prior to working for Adelson Testan, Ms. Landman was an attorney at a small firm in the San Fernando Valley specializing in workers' compensation defense and subrogation practice. Prior to that, she had been a named Partner at another Valley firm where her specialties included personal injury litigation, incl automobile accidents, medical malpractice and toxic torts; workers' compensation (applicant); entertainment & intellectual property transactions; corporate formation; trust litigation; and, basic estate planning. Ms. Landman's other experience has included entertainment and intellectual property transactions. She has previously worked with a multitude of entertainment companies incl: Universal Studios (Motion Pictures Grp), Directors Guild of America, Walt Disney Theatrical Productions and the American Theater Exchange Initiative. Ms. Landman has also represented and counseled writers, directors, singers, artists and innovators in entertainment and intellectual property and has acted as production legal counsel for various independent films and shorts. Ms. Landman is on the Board of Governors (and has been a past President) of the Lawyer's Club of Los Angeles County, is a member of and immediate past President of the Brandeis University Southern California Alumni Association Steering Committee and is a Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law Alumni Ambassador. She has previously been on the Board of Trustees for the Los Angeles County Bar Association and a Panel Attorney for the California Lawyers for the Arts. After seven years of practicing accounting, in late 2007, at 32 years old, unhappy in my career I decided to take the plunge and go back to school. I enrolled in an accelerated program for a degree in Interior Design. I was a full time student for 15 months and completed about 30 classes within that time.In December of 2008 I graduated and am currently launching MY OWN company...Eleni Interiors. I am so excited to FINALLY be doing something that I love AND get to be my own boss. I feel the future is bright and I am super excited about it!During my time as a full-time student, an interesting thing happened to me. I was obviously having the financial struggles of a full time student...so I had asked the universe to help me out in this situation and it did. I was introduced to an amazing opportunity!! My favorite part about it is that I get to focus on my other passion, health and wellness, while building my fortune part time! In my free time I practice bikram yoga and am big into personal development. The only way to take big steps forward and succeed in this life can only happen when you work on yourself first.As my mentor Tony Robbins says "Live with Passion!"
