I am a Computer Programming student and have gone through the beginner courses of Java, C#, and Visual Basic.NET. I also took Javascript and Visual Basic.NET in High School prior to any college classes involving them. By the end of Summer Quarter 2010, I will have completed all of the classes for the previously noted programming languages. I am also teaching myself to program in C++ in my free time since my school replaced that language in the curriculum with C#, and knowing C++ is one of my primary goals. Some of my other goals are to receive my 2-year degree in Computer Programming, find an internship or a job as a programmer so I can jump right into the programming field and master the art of creating programs. All I want to do is program, I've always wanted to as a child, experienced it in high school, grew up around videogames and computers and I can never get enough of technology, so this is the field for me! During one of my quarters at Chattahoochee Tech. I took the Operating Systems class that was required for my major. In that class we learned a great deal about Linux, Ubuntu specifically, so I decided to dual-boot my personal laptop with it and I cannot go back to Windows! My new job at AdaptOne as a Java Web Developer has given me more knowledge in the Linux world, and I may have a future position here as their Linux Administrator. My experiences with Linux within the past few months has formed an entirely new addiction to me and my technology: Linux!! It's amazing. Talk to me about it.
