I was raised in Miami, FL and graduated from high school in 1993 from Miami Killian Sr. I attended the University of Florida from 1993-1998. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. I wasn't sure what career I wanted to pursue at that point, I just knew that I liked science and was interested in doing research. I got a job as a research assistant at the Brain Institute in Gainesville, FL where I assisted with experiments and collected data for spinal cord injury research. After two years of doing this, I decided that I would prefer to interact with people more. I had some friends who were in dental school and they thought it would be a good idea for me to observe at the school for a week to see if I was interested in dentistry. I knew right away this was the career for me! I attended Nova Southeastern University dental school from 2000-2004. After I graduated, I worked for the Broward County Health Department for two years where I was providing treatment to low income families. From 2006-2007 I worked for Coast Dental in West Palm Beach which was a large, multi-office company. In 2007, I decided that it was time for me to make a bold move to practice solo. I bought my existing practice from a dentist who had been practicing in Coral Springs for about 20 years. I inherited his patients and it has been a great experience so far. We are steadily growing every year! Specialties Family Dentistry read more ...
