I am a Career Coach and Certified Professional Resume Writer in Athens, GA. Before earning my Coaching Certification, I worked in Higher Ed for years, moving up and through various roles in Student Affairs Administration. My love for working with students and young professionals was instilled in me through my own experiences in college and as a young professional. I admired those who helped me make my way through those challenging periods. They helped me come into my own, by building my confidence and believing in my leadership skills and my commitment to serving others. Throughout my career, I have strived to define myself as that guy who takes on new projects that require creativity, old projects that need strategic direction, partnerships with key departments and student organizations that require diplomacy and bridge building, and detailed projects that require comfort with technology and an ability to embrace ambiguity and experiment. I take pride in my ability to assume projects others don't want, can't do well, or don't know how to do. I like the challenges that come with creating new ways of doing things, or fixing processes that have gone awry. It's satisfying to figure out where things are going off-track, map out improvements, and teach new and better ways to implement processes. In , I jumped off the career ladder I had been climbing, and started my own business, as a career coach. I love working -on- with individuals and helping them find their life and career directions, and enjoy doing interactive presentations, both in person and online.
