richard mooney
I have years experience litigating and arbitrating complex international and domestic business disputes, with a particular emphasis on antitrustcompetition and intellectual property disputes. I have represented individuals and corporations of all sizes from the United States and more than a dozen other nations in trial and appellate courts and arbitration proceedings throughout the U.S. and internationally. I strive to deliver each client thoughtful analysis, sound judgment, aggressive litigation (where appropriate), and close attention to client service. My pro bono work has included a major victory in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, halting efforts to water down the famous dolphin-safe standard for canned tuna. Before practicing law I was a car washer in Eugene, Oregon, a computer help desk consultant at Harvard Business School, a dishwasher in Paris, and a law clerk for the Honorable Almalya L. Kearse of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. I received my law degree with high honors from the University of Michigan () and my undergraduate degree with honors from Harvard College ().
