I am an experienced software developer who effectively designs and develops Java or JavaScript code in agile environments. I also occasionally offer legal advice related to software development and handle a small number of litigation matters. SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT-- I've worked across the entire web stack front end, back end, and the middle tier. I started with Java back when the only IDE was Notepad, and the majority of my experience is in Java. I've written Spring MVC, Struts, JSP (including frameworks like Tiles), raw servlets, filters, and almost anything else that touches the web. Recently, I've gained experience designing and developing REST-based APIs for a large, high profile consumer application. Additionally, I've also been doing more work with Javascript I'm very comfortable with jQuery, and I have some experience with browser-based frameworks like Angular. Most of my experience has been in a consulting role for large enterprises such as Intel and the types of clients that Accenture works with. Because of this, I am used to developing enterprise- or consumer-grade systems that are highly scalable. While I'm a solid developer, I believe one of my strengths is that I work hard to be effective in almost any team. In fact, one of the things I love most about software development is the challenge of having to adapt to a new team's personalities, project methodologies, and development patterns. LEGAL PRACTICE.
