I work at the intersection of new technologies and human behavior to research, design, implement, and evaluate innovative solutions to improve public health systems worldwide. As an ICT for Health Consultant to the World Bank, I manage a study in Ethiopia assessing the impacts of mobile phone tools on health outcomes in rural regions. Outside the Bank I am working with USAID In Indonesia to customize a mobile health application for use by peer support counselors at HIVAIDS and drug rehabilitation centers in Jakarta. I am writing a book called "Everyday Ambassador Grassroots Diplomacy, Global Impact" and manage a corresponding online community of global social change agents at www.everydayambassador.org, where we discuss the relationship-based strategies required to change the world in the st century. I recently served as a research manager at Harvard Business School and Innovations for Poverty Action - Zambia, rigorously evaluating the impact of behavioral interventions on the functioning of health systems and individual health decision-making. My past projects in the health sector include the development of a mobile health tool with MercyCorps for use by midwives in Jakarta, training peer HIVAIDS educators in Ghana, and designing an HIV testing program for teenagers in Tanzania. I continue to work closely with Rumah Cemara, a renowned drug rehabilitation and HIVAIDS center in Bandung, Indonesia. I graduated from New York University with a BA in International Relations and a Masters of Public Administration in International Health Policy Management. I am grateful to be part of several service-driven communities, including the Catherine B. Reynolds Program in Social Entrepreneurship, the Henry Luce Foundation, the Academy of Achievement, and the Truman Scholarship Foundation.
