Jesse Palmer is a Senior Software Developer at Gannett Digital where he is currently working on a content management system that is being rebuilt in AngularJS. From July to November Jesse was a Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) as Senior Database Administrator Software Developer. His primary responsibility at the FHWA was to maintain the databases that are the source of record for all road data in the National Park Service. He also developed robust user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and Java while using Python for scripting purposes. Previously Jesse was the West Team Leader and Web Producer for Gannett Company, Inc. As West Team Leader Jesse oversaw the development, daily production, and maintenance of seven newspaper websites including, the Fort Collins Coloradoan, the Guam Pacific Daily News, and the St. George Spectrum. Jesse holds a Bachelor's of Science degree from Virginia Tech and is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Computer Science from Stanford University.
