Previously, Mr. Bell had been the Corporate Vice President, Global Marketing, Interactive Entertainment Business (Xbox), for Microsoft Inc. He also served as Vice President of the Chrysler and Jeep Divisions. Mr. Bell serves on the Board of NCT Ventures LLC, and as Chairman of the Board of DOmedia LLC. He also is a member of the Board of Advisors for Nimia. In the past few years, Mr. Bell served as a Senior Advisor to MXM, and Organic, Inc., both leading digital agencies, and to the President of NBC Marketing. At Microsoft, Bell oversaw all of IEB’s marketing and creative including supervising McCann Erickson, AKQA and Universal McCann. In addition, he supervised consumer advertising, online and direct marketing, and media and consumer promotions. He also oversaw Microsoft’s Digital Media (including its website, xbox.com), Research, Brand Management, and Product Planning areas. He joined the company in 2006, and under his leadership, Microsoft created innovative, award-winning and multi-million dollar integrated marketing, advertising and promotional campaigns for the critically acclaimed entertainment console Xbox 360 and its online service Xbox Live, as well as the video games "Halo 3," "Gears of War," "Rock Band," "Guitar Hero II," "Grand Theft Auto III," "Age of Empires," "Scene It!" and "Viva Piñata," to name a few. He has served on the national board of the Multiple Sclerosis Society and was chair of the Michigan Chapter, and was inducted into the Volunteer Hall of Fame in 2009. He received the prestigious 2008 Titanium Lion at the Cannes Advertising Awards for best Integrated Marketing Campaign for Halo 3. In 2005, Jeff received the Advertising Age Award for “Interactive Marketer of the Year,” was named the Advertising Age "Entertainment Marketer of the year" in 2007 for “Gears of War.” He has received numerous awards from Cannes, Advertising Age, MediaPost, MinMagaine, G12, and E3. Bell honed his skills in marketing and general management during his time at DaimlerChrysler and Ford, where he rose through the ranks, eventually being appointed Vice President of Chrysler and Jeep, and Managing Director of Ford Spain, respectively. He was instrumental in turning around the Dodge brand the “That Thang Gotta Hemi,” and “Grab Life by the Horns” campaigns. Bell also launched the Chrysler 300, “Stow ‘n Go” minivan and Jeep 4-door Wrangler. Bell graduated from Kenyon College, graduating Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa and honored as an Academic All-American. He holds Master’s degrees from Johns Hopkins and Wharton. He is married to his wife, Colleen, and has three sons, Josh, Jon and Matt. He is an Eagle Scout and was a paperboy.
