A little about me I've been married to an incredible, caring man and compassionate father for years now. I'm a mother of eight wonderful children. God gave us three children by birthing and five daughters through adoption. From our eight children, My husband and I have had the opportunity to have eight small blessings call us "Grandma and Grandpa". My husband and I have spent much of our lives caring for difficult foster children while raising our own. I have spoken and trained within the Social Care industry on child development, adoption and raising difficult teens. And, oh yeah...I'm the author of a book that has been read world wide, "Looking Through The Eyes of An Unseen Child". I begin my book tour with Borders Books Nov. , ' ( weeks after being released) and since then have traveled from Hollywood to Nashville and back to Denver multiple times. I've been seen on television, on concert stages, in Hollywood and you might have heard on the radio once or twice. But, most of the time you will find me here in Denver Colorado helping the homeless. Despite the many physical obstacles I deal with daily, my story continues to be told through me or by the many children who have come in to my life. I truly believe that it takes just one person to make a difference in the life of a child...and through that one child, many more lives can be changed No matter what trials comes your way in life, there's always a lesson to be learned and a story to be told "Your success and happiness lies in you.
