I currently am pursuing my bachelors with a double major in Advertising & Public Relations, and Art Studio from Loyola University. My diverse course curriculum embodies the fundamentals of a Jesuit university with my personal interest in philosophy and the fine arts. Previous I was a dedicated biology major, although events lead me to create a new path in life. One filled with intentions of becoming a creative consultant specializing in fashion and art relations. A new creative outlet that I’m exploring is through my current position as a visual merchandiser and sales associate at American Apparel. The overall objective is to effectively communicate to our target market and increase sales. My main responsibility is to visually communicate how our American made clothing is versatile and essential. Prior to American Apparel I served as a production manager for Landmark Education Chicago. I directed a group to effectively uphold the standards for the seminar, and to create a space that would inspire our participants to have personal breakthroughs in their personal life by being a part of Landmark Education. Previous to Landmark education I introduced the Spanish designer Tous to Chicago.Overall objective was to introduce the American public to Tous a well known designer throughout Europe and Latin America. We began by opening up our corporate location in Macy's on State Street, and a small boutique in the Water Tower Mall on Michigan Ave. The essential task I was given was to simply communicate to Macys customers the values and designs of Tous through visual merchandising and sales. My main interest  is art inspired by fashion, emotions, and anatomy. The three mediums I express my emotions and beliefs are painting, drawing and photography. Last spring semester for color theory I published my first photography book on Blurb.com, titled The last canvas. This marked the official beginning to my career as an artist and has been the catalyst for personal growth.The last canvas focused on the exploration of paint medium on the human body.  Currently I have a couple of personal projects outside my painting class. This semester I’m focusing on the beauty and abstraction of the human body. My photography project of the year is called 365, where the objective is to take a picture a day of myself throughout the entire year. It embodies some narcissistic beliefs but is a vehicle for experimentation in photography.
