In 2006, at age of 30, I was diagnosed with Astrocytoma Glioblastoma Cancerous Brain Tumor Stage Two. I had simply 18 months to live by three separate doctors. Fortunately I found MD Anderson Cancer Center and underwent Brain Surgery in May 2007. I fought with chemotherapy and therapy to learn how to speak and walk again. Over the years my tumor has grown significantly. I’ve suffered from two siezures daily and difficulty to walk. I was able to have a second surgery on December 08, 2011. My siezures have stopped but my brain tumor is now borderline between stage three and four. Facts reveal that surviving 5 years is 3-5%. I’m currently 5 years and 3 months from being diagnosed and still going strong! I now begin a heavy radiation process back at MD Anderson Cancer Center Janruary 03, 2012. I’m currently searching for a place to stay for the two month duration. Over the past 5 years, I have exhausted my financial account fighting my brain tumor. It is only with the support from people like you that I’ve been able to continue this fight. With your help, I can continue fighting and helping the others while helping myself. Thank you for listening to my story and supporting my cause. Sincerely, Craig A. Rodgers Specialties Fighting Brain Cancer read more ...
