C. Y. Cyrus Chu is a Taiwanese economist and politician. He holds a Bachelor of Law from National Taiwan University (1978) and PhD in economics from the University of Michigan (1985). He has published 2 monographs on demography and family economics, respectively, both published by Oxford University Press, and more than 100 professional articles in journals including American Economic Review and Journal of Political Economy.
