I guess that says that I want more out of life. Or maybe it says that I'm careless, over-analyze everything and speak in stupid metaphors all the time. Either way, I have really clean hair... Like most people, I was born a knot of mystery and contradiction that I have only begun to unravel. I can't help but marvel at the world with the wide-eyed fascination of a child: philosophy, politics, history and the sciences... any and all aspects of the human condition in general. Although it's entirely impossible, I want to write a book one day that explains the whole world away in a couple hundred pages and sets the masses of humanity straight. I've already started it and so far it sucks immensely...In my experience, I find the brain to be the largest erogenous zone, and I've been assured that mine's one sexy bitch.  Skeptical of authority, conventional wisdom and anything that asks to be taken on faith -- my feelings are that we should be teaching people HOW to think, not WHAT to think. A firm believer in "the golden mean," polarity and keeping a balance in one's life - I despise absolutes and love frolicking in the grey area that abounds. If there is one thing I can't stand its zealots, overcompensators, and narrow minded people who think they've got the whole world pegged. I believe a true mark of intelligence is admitting how clueless you really are in the face of such vast wonder. My humor can be quite cynical at times, but in the healthiest of ways, and I've long been a fan of irony, sarcasm and universal folly. I'm incapable of being bored, have way too many hobbies and responsibilities to keep up with, and my time is a riddle that I never have time to solve. And although my life can get pretty hectic sometimes, when it comes down to it -- I consider myself one of the most content, fun loving and well grounded individuals I know.
