He had additional responsibility for Technical Project Management, Application architecture consistency and Systems requirements. As a enterprise architect Ash created the road-map for systems evolution in Verizon Business. He was also a founding member of the Architecture Standards group. Ash was awarded a Verizon Excellence award for his contributions. Immediately prior, Ash was a architect for the e-Business group, where, since , he identified new opportunities, defined strategies and developed go-to-market business plans for new technologies. As a result, a number of key corporate productivity enhancement initiatives were implemented in Verizon including instant messaging, web-based collaboration, content delivery networks and WiFi. Ash joined GTE Wireless as a Software Engineer. He subsequently worked as an architect on eCommerce systems and Data Warehousing. He moved to Verizon Data Services in as Member of Technical Staff.
