As a banker, he led teams that successfully helped companies decide on investment strategies to develop and finance manufacturing plants and real estate projects. Mr. Broustra acted as a trusted advisor to many of his clients to help them in the decision-making process regarding their projects, particularly in strategizing for long-term development. Before becoming a banker, Mr. Broustra worked in a family-run publishing business, based in Paris. This firm published economic newsletters in Paris, several of which were affiliated with The Financial Times. In addition, Mr. Broustra consulted on a variety of projects as the Paris-based correspondent for a consulting firm in Philadelphia. Mr. Broustra helped small entrepreneurs write business plans for specifically targeted ventures. He has also coached professionals on career development. Mr. Broustra is currently executive producer for a documentary on young Native Americans in New Mexico involved in language revitalization. Mr. Broustra has extensive experience in marketing, both at the local and international levels. He holds a bachelorâ€™s degree in Marketing from the University of Pennsylvania, cum laude, and an MBA in Finance from Columbia University.
