Not a bird. Not a plane. Just FLY...Phillip "Fly" Scott is "a young man with an old soul." That is known to keeps his rhymes on autopilot so they never crash & is rarely in need of human assistance. Born & raised in St. Louis he makes it his duty as an artist to "put on" for his city & also bring light to the harsh realities from his own personal experience as well as others he has come into contact with. Throughout his life & music he continuously pays homage to the pioneers of hip hop, jazz, soul, & rock & roll. He attributes his evolution as an artist to his first love. They have known each other since he was nine years old. He likes to refer to her as his "saviour in the flesh" due to the song she sings to his heart. His one & only, MUSIC. He is currently working on his newest mixtape "Just Take Flight" & although he has not yet found a permanent place to call home to create he remains consistent in believing that he is not in the game for his "15 minutes of fame" but because the kid possesses that "Vincent Van Gogh flow he does it for the art"..."P.s.
