As editor of MorristownGreen.com, I helped conceive and launch the first hyper-local Web site for New Jersey's largest newspaper, the Pulitzer Prize-winning Star-Ledger. It's been a thrilling opportunity to DO technology after years of writing about it for the paper. In addition to blogging, shooting photos and videos, streaming Webcasts, recording podcasts, cooking up promotional events and recruiting local talent, I have honed other skills not taught in J-school. Things like getting a giant wiener welded onto a van before a big parade, and building fences to protect church flowers at our first film festival. . . Humor and a high tolerance for fun keep the engine humming. A quick study, I thrive on challenges and bring passion and enthusiasm to the task at hand--whether it's reporting on the latest gadget or trying to solve global warming.
