Live in Sackville, New BrunswickI grew up in Southern Ontario, Canada was good in math and also loved guitar. Got into the 80s 'shred' guitarists and heavy metal for the most part (Yngwie, Vinnie, Greg, Joe and the gang).Then with the math thing I went to the University of Waterloo for Civil Engineering then on to University of Calgary for a Master's degree. That's where I met my beautiful, intelligent and funny wife Bonnie who was doing her undergrad in engineering. We got a dog named Ben (who's now 16.5 years old) and eventually bought our first home.After first my job as an engineer and getting laid off I started contracted to gain some semblance of control over my life. So I never became a 'company man' by any means. I eventually transferred into IT as I used to program a lot in my basement as a kid (Timex Sinclair, then Vic20, Commodore 64, PET computers - that goes a ways back).In June 2010 we moved to New Brunswick. I had been getting sick of Calgary over the years as it grew by leaps and bound, making traffic more of a pain. Plus the redneck stuff like the Stampede and Oil/gas mentality.I'm out here now working from home on occasion in IT and practicing and teaching lots of guitar with online courses, webcam lessons and my own study.
