Dr. Tim the Educator: Tim holds a Bachelor in Music Education from Northwest Nazarene University. He did his post-graduate studies in secondary music education at Western Oregon University and received his Masters of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from Moriah Institute of Christian Studies in North Carolina. Dr. Tim has taught orchestra, guitar and choirs in public and private schools for 27 years. He oversaw the Church Music Department of City Bible Church and taught for 13 years at Portland Bible College (Music Theory, Composition, Arranging, Conducting, Church Music Ministry, Instrumental techniques, private lessons) . While there, he developed a thriving Church Music Ministry Degree Program and raised up many worship teams to minister the word and inspire worship around the world. More than 25 nations have now been touched by these teams. Many of Tim's former students are now ministering as worship leaders and pastors in churches worldwide. Dr. Tim the Composer/Musician: Tim is a professional cellist as well as an accomplished pianist and guitarist. His love for working with musicians naturally integrates with his skills as a choral director, songwriter, arranger and worship leader. Tim has written hundreds of songs, many of which are translated into other languages and sung around the world. He is a published composer with Integrity Music and was instrumental in birthing CCLI, an international copyright licensing organization for the church. Dr. Tim the Publisher: Tim has recorded three live worship CDs: Let the Warriors Arise (1991) Without Hesitation (1999) Come Be With Me (2006). His acclaimed instruction book, Piano in Worship, is now in DVD form and is being used around the world to release worshipers everywhere in creative worship.
