I believe that my experience and dedication will make a significant and valuable contribution to any place of business. I have worked in design/advertising for six (6) years. For the past 2 years, I was employed at the local newspaper, The Press & Sun-Bulletin, in Binghamton, NY, gaining extensive experience in print communications from concept to production using industry-standard hardware and software within a highly competitive market. Currently, I live in Rochester, NY and work full time as a commercial roofer to pay the bills. I also volunteer my services as a graphic artist at the Rochester Chapter Red Cross. In addition, I stay current with graphic design and web design trends and standards through lynda.com and freelance work. Throughout my career I have demonstrated exceptional communication skills as well as the ability for meeting organizational objectives and demands on multiple concurrent projects within a fast-paced and time-sensitive field. I am dedicated to remaining current on industry-standard technology and software as well as trade trends. My plans are to begin my job search in the NYC area now and at the latest, move by January 2012 to begin school part-time at Baruch University.
