Hi, I’m Lindsay Roberts, and I started The Gift Insider because I absolutely love finding the most unique and creative products in the world. I grew up in West Bloomfield, Michigan, where, even as a kid, I had so much fun finding the perfect gifts for everyone in my life. I have a journalism degree from the University of Wisconsin, and I currently live in Chicago. I originally started The Gift Insider as a hobby while working at magazines like Good Housekeeping and Esquire, but I left the corporate publishing world in 2010 to pursue my dream of being a full-time gift expert.   The Gift Insider scours boutiques, magazines and the web to get an insider’s look at the best, newest, coolest, most unique, most romantic, most perfect gifts for any occasion – so that our readers don't have to.
