For 20 years I have been involved in marketing, PR, research, and writing for the sports, music, and high tech industries, applying, when appropriate, an integrated marketing strategy to the projects I have developed. I was one of the first to write a column on online marketing (in 1993 for Apple's OneNet). My sports marketing and management newsletters were widely used as curriculum materials in college sports marketing and management programs. I wrote a monthly column about women's sports business for Oxygen Media. I covered the Colorado high tech/venture capital scene for three different publications. Before that I was a freelance writer for a number of national magazines and an author of a business book which was featured as a Fortune Book Club Alternate Selection. I am particularly interested in sports and entertainment as branding strategies.
