I provide ideas and resources for growth. My specialties are digital marketing, digital publishing and digital entrepreneurship. As VP, Digital Strategy for RightSpot Media, I define strategies to maximize digital profits for advertisers and publishers. For more than a decade, I've contributed to successful digital initiatives for advertisers including Enbridge Gas Distribution, Rogers Communications, Bayer, Pfizer and dozens more across industries including healthcare, energy and telecommunications; large publishers including Reed-Elsevier; niche publishers including Cottage Life; start-up incubators including BrightSpark; and a few of my own ventures. My education includes a Bachelor of Journalism from Ryerson University (where I was one of the journalism school's first online editors, at a time when Netscape was the world's most popular browser) and a Master of Arts from the University of Toronto (in the history and philosophy of science and technology, with an emphasis on comparisons in digital and biological systems). I live in Toronto with my wife and daughter, and probably spend too much time on the computer.
