 Hello, fellow Flickrers! My name is Holly and I'm the founder/author/editor of Sacred Destinations and the photo website Art History Images. I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Oregon, USA, but am quite smitten with the UK and Europe as well. I lived in Edinburgh for a year back in 2000, and more recently spent two years in Oxford for an MPhil (2005-07). After graduation in November 2007, my husband David and I spent a cold winter in Bonn, Germany, followed by six magnificent months driving all around Europe in 2008. We made another two-month trip to Europe in late 2010. At home in Oregon, I keep busy sorting and editing our gazillions of photos, doing a bit of local travel, and working hard on my various website projects. The photos in this Flickr account were taken both by me and David, although I do all the posting, editing and captioning. Most of our photos are of historic architecture and art, and most are from our years in Europe. Hope you enjoy them! Many of our photos are available for licensing at Art History Images.
