Ryan Oaks joined Snapp Conner PR in immediately after graduation. Prior to graduating, he was named the - PR Student of the Year at Utah Valley University for his efforts in and out of the classroom. In , Ryan worked as an intern for the Provo City Council, managing communications for the transition of the new council members taking office the next year. After his time with the city council, Ryan began working with Real Salt Lake of Major League Soccer in the sponsorship department. This relationship has continued and Ryan now spends summer weekends with the RSL communications staff performing media relations, recording stats, and doing post-game press conferences and interviews. At Snapp Conner PR, Ryan represents Fishbowl, Nelson Laboratories, VacationRoost, Apiary Fund, and ContentWatch. He primarily focuses on writing, pitching, researching, and media training. Ryan enjoys spending his spare time with his family, canyoneering, watching comedies, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.
