Bruce Richter lives in the flatlands of Greenville, NC where the local highway on-ramp is what he calls hill training. Now in his eighth year of triathlon, Bruce got his start racing mountain bikes and road bikes until one day when he was saved by the vision that there are no drafters in heaven. So he turned to triathlon.Bruce loves his sport for its simplicity no strategizing, no games, just keep moving forward as fast as you can. Plus, since hes now over the hill at , its nice to find a sport where even old farts can still hang.Bruce has a degree in mechanical engineering - which he remembers nothing of - and is thankful that of all the math he had to endure in college, his career as a boat designer only ever calls for some simple high school geometry.Bruce's favorite color is chrome, he likes to eat raw garlic, he prefers Chocolate Mint flavored Gu, Journeys Only the Young is his favorite running song, and he thinks hair is a design flaw.
