When I grew up as a kid I was always fascinated by cars. This led to my obsession with cars through high school -- working on, racing, driving, testing new cars. One of my best memories in high school was taking a winter break with a friend to tear down and then rebuild + upgrade the engine in his '72 Camaro. I live in NYC, but no longer have my car that I drove in LA. It was a beautifully restored 1972 Datsun 240Z. I performed all the work myself (including swapping the transmission twice last year) and took a lot of pride in it. I'm the type who not only gets his hands dirty, but can also tell you the variations in model years, color options, packages, engine outputs, mechanical differences, etc. Currently my biggest hobby/obsession is pool and billiards. I play anywhere from 10-40 hours a week depending on my schedule. I'm a semi regular at Broadway Billiards up on 21st and Broadway. My favorite games are 9-ball and 1-pocket, although 14.1 straight pool is gaining a lot of attention in my practice sessions. If you enjoy a competitive or casual game, let's get in touch and hit a few. I enjoy gambling. I enjoy the seedier parts of the game that only happen at 4am when the rest of the world is asleep. I like being in the action, and the crazy shit that happens at that hour. I can't even count the number of times I've emerged from the poolhall to find the light of day after an all-night session. Groggy and tired, stumbling on the subway as everyone else has only woken up is one of my favorite feelings.
