Pattie has lived in many places including Trieste, Italy, Baumholder, Germany then Ft. Bliss, El Paso, Texas but finally settled in San Diego, California. She received her B.A.in Psychology and an M.F.A.in Creative Writing from San Diego State University. She served as adjunct faculty at SDSU, Grossmont and Southwestern Colleges. She has owned and operated Pattie Wells' Dancetime Center since 1998 but started Dance Instruction by Pattie Wells in 1980 and managed the Sunshine Ballroom and Dance Studio from 1978-1980. Her avocation is writing fiction, poetry and blogs about dance. She enjoys her work as a dance educator!
